Unhistoric Love

Case A The most romantic stories of modern times, has to be of a man who has been most hated in the current era; aka The Adolf Hitler’s. Hitler has been married once in his life, only during his last 40 hours of his life. During final hours of the Eva Bruan , she had all the ways to escape the attack of enemy, yet she stayed with Hitler. Even if, the death was certain for him, she wedded him. As the history goes, on 30 April 1945, he was found with a bullet in his head and she with an opened capsule of Cyanide. The Romeo-Juliet, remember.   And Albert Einstein, the peace loving human, never met his first born daughter, Lieserl Einstein . What’s even worse, he didn’t even try to find her and did not find out if she survived. He advocated for world peace, but never tried to offer a peaceful life to his own child.   Here’s to the Hitler’s and Einstein’s; one was deeply hated by the world, but not by his family and other, who loved the world, but not his own family....

Art World

Last week I headed out to explore Mumbai. I found this particular street which caught my attention and certainly triggered  train  of thoughts.  Nothing famous about this street; no tourist, nor photographers or the attention from the jaywalkers. But here was the eclectic art that moved me. The walls of the streets were covered with infamous Graffiti art. I had to take a moment to appreciate the art, and the creativity put into.  Who are these artist? Are they getting paid? Art was actual beautifying the street. Isn't that the essence of civilization?  Since we are not robots, we need emotions and gratifications to make us feel real. Year after year, generations after generations we make sure all these emotions are properly fed, even with the changing dynamics of the brain. A few centuries ago, maybe, humans put stones in a circle and called it an art. But now we need more; vivid colors, textures, strokes and even we started paying attentio...

Ghee Rice

Lately I have been obsessed with Ghee rice. It's a simple dish prepared with non-perishable ingredients and rudimentary flavours. It just has the essence of Indian species and clarified butter and doesn't even need side dish. If you see, preparing it surprisingly simple and sometimes I pat myself for inventing it.  First thing first, how to prepare the authentic Ghee Rice; It's as easy as preparing rice plus species and Ghee. Step one, Heat up the pan/pressure cooker add Ghee, more Ghee. Add Cinnamon, Bay leaf, crushed Black pepper and salt. Fry'em for 2-3 minutes. Step 2, add rinsed-uncooked rice, add twice the water to rice.  Step 3, let the rice cook. I tell you, it cooks well, really well. I prefer cooking in pressure cooker, it contains all the aromas and rice really soaks in all the goodness. Once cooked you can top it up with more Ghee. Have you seen someone smile? Not the laughter on jokes, not the smile that’s imprinted on their face, nor the su...

Closure

Last week I lost my phone. It was not a high end- expensive smartphone. It was just a simple Nokia phone. And it was not my the first phone to have any sort of feeling. Then what made it special? Well, it was Glossy-Pearl-white and looked like a pebble, with perfect contours as if the time had shaped it. No dent and could handle three days of battery life, 2.4” color screen, and QWERTY keyboard. In simple words, It was poor guys Blackberry device. Timeless and antique. For sure it was out of the market and buying it again was nearly impossible. Losing such a beautiful crafted piece of tech was saddening. Every time I saw that small pin charger, it reminded me what I had just lost. Little did I know when I lost it, where I lost it and how I lost such a precious. I couldn’t remember where I last kept it, maybe because I was surrounded by this era of the social network, online message popups’ and nonsensical slang like Wassup, Hmmm Hmmm, kkkk and counting dots to end a sentence... ...

Mora

Mora The life under new umbrella O nce I had the audacity to leave my home-town, family and friends and, everything I cared and loved. Now in the alien land my eyes were searching for any old recognizable face. But, this time I was sure I won’t find any, still I couldn’t stop looking. With the hopes, excitement and nervousness, I embarked my professional journey from a sleeping fishing village called Mora. I was recruited as Product Engineer in the prestigious organization, Saint-Gobain Grindwell Norton. Well, the village is situated on the coastline of Arabian Sea and is at the farthest end of Mumbai, which is pretty much an Island. The beach is few hundred feet away from the guest house. As it’s isolated, there is no traffic or city issue.  Every now and then we can see exotic new birds, creepy crabs and Snakes. I hope there are no salt water crocodiles!  Some facts about Mora: Mora is part of Uran, Raigad Dist. 62km from Mumbai.  It has hardly ...

Convergence

Every day we bump into old friends and new enemies. But, few millennium earlier animals were our friends and enemies. And now we cannot tolerate having these domestic creatures around. May be because they are awful, unhygienic or dangerous, or maybe they are not ‘we’, the Homo sapiens. Sometimes, we happen to encounter the animals and these are my experiences. In my final year I migrated to the so called Main Hostels (MH). The building is superficially old, but can still stand strong for another 50 years. I was allotted the room #100. If you happen to be at MH, please take a moment for the writings on the door. They clearly depict the dreams and ambitions scribbled on the doors, some say GRE USA and few shout VM Ware / Merc/Bosch/Tesco! . As I entered my room, I was eager to find out what was inside. Surprisingly, I saw a small lizard. I consciously ignored it. Then I opened the windows. I heard ‘ patthh.. paatthh!’. I then discovered two more small garden lizards falling from t...

Dreams

Dreams Dreams are weird, atrocious and alacritous. Some make us fall and give us a funny jerk, some make us cry. Even some dreams make us enthusiastic, happy and euphoric. Recently, I was in a strange dream, where I was [dot]pdf file. I was born as a file in a digital world or completely was transported to the digital world. I could feel people reading me and scrolling me. I could see their dead eye stuck to me, they not even realizing the fact that, I was actually alive and judging them. What if, the entire materialistic world we see around is pseudo and digital world is the reality. What if, ‘the negative mass’ what the scientist call, are actually part of the digital world and people in the digital world control us (apparently, no one can deny that). We call our self as biological creatures and no one can control us. Meaning, ‘we are not Robots!’ but we are humans and we can think. Now let’s analyse the some rudimentary facts. Fact 1: We don’t know our state befor...
