Dreams

Dreams

Dreams are weird, atrocious and alacritous. Some make us fall and give us a funny jerk, some make us cry. Even some dreams make us enthusiastic, happy and euphoric.

Recently, I was in a strange dream, where I was [dot]pdf file. I was born as a file in a digital world or completely was transported to the digital world. I could feel people reading me and scrolling me. I could see their dead eye stuck to me, they not even realizing the fact that, I was actually alive and judging them. What if, the entire materialistic world we see around is pseudo and digital world is the reality. What if, ‘the negative mass’ what the scientist call, are actually part of the digital world and people in the digital world control us (apparently, no one can deny that).

We call our self as biological creatures and no one can control us. Meaning, ‘we are not Robots!’ but we are humans and we can think. Now let’s analyse the some rudimentary facts.

Fact 1: We don’t know our state before birth and after death. Analogous to robots, they are just a piece of machine, unless they have ‘batteries’ (soul).

Fact 2: We believe to some extent that supernatural powers or Gods are watching us. Just like owner of a toy.

Fact 3: Ever heard of ‘sole purpose of life’. There is intended/pre-determined meaning for life. The pursuits of the destination make us happy, proud, etc. As if, some sort of chemical is injected into our conscious (or subconscious) from the cosmic space for appreciation.
… And so on.

A fear lurks in me, fear saying that there is no freedom to choose our own destination and we are controlled by some big Guy out there and we can’t go against His will. The same thing recurring centuries after centuries and may continue till the end of this century!

In the movie Shawshank redemption (a story on prison break), Morgan Freeman says, ‘These walls are funny. First you hate them, and then you get used to them. Sometimes later, you depend on them!’.

I think we are pre-programmed Biological machines, aren’t we?   …PH

Art World

Last week I headed out to explore Mumbai. I found this particular street which caught my attention and certainly triggered  train  of thoughts.  Nothing famous about this street; no tourist, nor photographers or the attention from the jaywalkers. But here was the eclectic art that moved me. The walls of the streets were covered with infamous Graffiti art. I had to take a moment to appreciate the art, and the creativity put into.  Who are these artist? Are they getting paid? Art was actual beautifying the street. Isn't that the essence of civilization?  Since we are not robots, we need emotions and gratifications to make us feel real. Year after year, generations after generations we make sure all these emotions are properly fed, even with the changing dynamics of the brain. A few centuries ago, maybe, humans put stones in a circle and called it an art. But now we need more; vivid colors, textures, strokes and even we started paying attentio...

Ghee Rice

Lately I have been obsessed with Ghee rice. It's a simple dish prepared with non-perishable ingredients and rudimentary flavours. It just has the essence of Indian species and clarified butter and doesn't even need side dish. If you see, preparing it surprisingly simple and sometimes I pat myself for inventing it.  First thing first, how to prepare the authentic Ghee Rice; It's as easy as preparing rice plus species and Ghee. Step one, Heat up the pan/pressure cooker add Ghee, more Ghee. Add Cinnamon, Bay leaf, crushed Black pepper and salt. Fry'em for 2-3 minutes. Step 2, add rinsed-uncooked rice, add twice the water to rice.  Step 3, let the rice cook. I tell you, it cooks well, really well. I prefer cooking in pressure cooker, it contains all the aromas and rice really soaks in all the goodness. Once cooked you can top it up with more Ghee. Have you seen someone smile? Not the laughter on jokes, not the smile that’s imprinted on their face, nor the su...

Unhistoric Love

Case A The most romantic stories of modern times, has to be of a man who has been most hated in the current era; aka The Adolf Hitler’s. Hitler has been married once in his life, only during his last 40 hours of his life. During final hours of the Eva Bruan , she had all the ways to escape the attack of enemy, yet she stayed with Hitler. Even if, the death was certain for him, she wedded him. As the history goes, on 30 April 1945, he was found with a bullet in his head and she with an opened capsule of Cyanide. The Romeo-Juliet, remember.   And Albert Einstein, the peace loving human, never met his first born daughter, Lieserl Einstein . What’s even worse, he didn’t even try to find her and did not find out if she survived. He advocated for world peace, but never tried to offer a peaceful life to his own child.   Here’s to the Hitler’s and Einstein’s; one was deeply hated by the world, but not by his family and other, who loved the world, but not his own family....
